About us
We’re a Danish couple who moved out of Denmark more than 20 years ago with our three daughters for work reasons but, more importantly, for the adventure of seeing new places, meeting new people and cultures, and “living the life”… We’ve lived in fantastic places like Paris and Barcelona, before we ended up in lovely Piemonte, Italy.
The many years in southern Europe have nourished the interest in wine, food and design, which we’ve partly connected to Cascina Krejberg through the B&B, the ceramics, and wine-production.
Today the Cascina stands totally rebuilt after the highest standards, but having also respected the old, traditional farmhouse design and craftsmanship in the restructuring.
CascinaKrejberg includes a small Bed & Breakfast with 4 spacious rooms, the private residence of the family as well as a smaller vineyard, delivering grapes to a part of CascinaKrejberg’s own wine-production.
About Cascina Krejberg
In 2020 we bought the old cascina just 2 km outside the historical city of Canelli, sited in the beautiful hills of the Langhe region and protected by the Unesco World Heritage. The cascina dates back to 1920 and had been a property of the same family for 100 years.
In the past the cascina had several hectares of wines and was home to a smaller wine-production of 20-30.000L of Moscato d’Asti wine, but most land had been sold off. The house and vineyards stood back worn-down and unattended for years.
