Welcome to Cascina Krejberg

If you are looking for a holiday to unwind, relax, and enjoy the nature and views of the rolling hills in Piemonte, then Cascina Krejberg is the place to be!

Scenic view of terraced vineyards on rolling hills with houses and a church in the distance, with snow-capped mountains in the background under a clear blue sky.

Why the Piemonte area?

The Langhe region is an area of rolling hills in the Piemonte region in northern Italy. The hills are covered in vineyards with medieval hill towns and ancient castles atop their peaks. Along with the neighbouring areas of Monferrato and Roero, the Langhe was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 for its cultural landscapes and winemaking traditions going back hundreds of years.

The scenery is gorgeous, but what also attracts visitors is the outstanding wine and food, from the famous Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera reds to the white truffles, handmade pasta, and sweet hazelnuts.

Street scene with colorful buildings, a tower in the background, two people walking, and a shop window featuring a woman in a bikini.

The region is full of beautiful cities to visit with Asti in the northern part, home to the Asti Spumante, to the region capital, Alba, famous for the white truffle festival in autumn, the "wine-cities" Barolo, Barbaresco and La Morra, or Neive in the Barbaresco wine region, which has been selected as one of the "Borghi Piu Belli d'Italia" (most beautiful villages of Italy). Furthermore, Neive is where we have our wine-production - The Winery Neive.

Courtyard scene with a large tree in a circular brick planter, outdoor table and chairs, and a two-story house with windows and shutters under a clear blue sky.

About Cascina Krejberg

In 2020 we bought the old cascina  just 2 km outside the historical city of Canelli, sited in the beautiful hills of the Langhe region and protected by the Unesco World Heritage. The cascina dates back to 1920 and had been a property of the same family for 100 years.
